Made some pieces for the shock towers to reinforce them, as done with Unique Performance cars.
Also bent and welded in the rollcage, will also be tubes going to the rear later on.
And a pic from a meet at my home town, a -68 Shelby GT350 Clone.

Getting the front straight and more metal work..
Went and bought a pull cylinder for the porta power this week. Also got some meassures from a nice fellow in the US, he had a straight 67 Fastback shell that he meassured on.
So when I had all the meassures I needed, I got started and straightened up the front. It didn't go as quick as it sounds though..
And when I had that straight I cut away the battery tray and made myself a new metal piece to fit in that area. Since the battery will be placed in the trunk i wont need the tray anymore.
Welded in the front clip too.
Also got myself time to start on the gaslid and its mounting.
Welded in the torque boxes too. Had to split them in half and weld them in piece by piece.
Also media blasted, painted and assembled the pedal support and door hinges. The door that is in place has also been fixed, replaced the bad door skin with a new one.
All this hasn't been done this week though, just haven't posted everything till now :P

Metal work
Have done some more metal work since last time. I got time to cut up and widthen the inner fenders on the driver side, have started with the passager side too. This means that I now can have 10,5 or 11" width on rear rims. I also welded in the brake cooling box on the driver side. Also got time to media blast and paint some stuff.

Door finished, dash welded in..
Got the dashboard welded in today. Had to straighten it with the porta-power to get it in place. It was a little bumped up. Also put some pieces in to see how the whole instrumentcluster fitted. Will need some more work but then it will fit nicely.
Also finished the passager door. Have started hammering on the doorskin on the driver side door too. Also made a holder for the rubberseal on the bottom of the door.
